Seville is the largest city and capital of the Andalucía region in the south of Spain. Seville has a population of approx 700,000 and has a year round pleasant to hot climate. The Semana Santa (holy week) and the feria every year are popular times of year to visit Seville.

Seville has an interesting fusion of many different styles of heritage, art and architecture. These vary from Roman to Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and even Islamic coming from the south in Morocco.

Hotels tend to be expensive in Seville. Given the summer heat, it is possible to find bargains in the summer otherwise avoid the big festivals to avoid increased seasonal rates.

Hotel rooms start at approx £35 a night. In order to take advantage of these offers you need to get in there and book early. Great hotels with a great location can cost £100 or more, with the most luxurious costing several hundred pounds a night.

Bilbao is an up and coming city in the North of Spain, which has enjoyed massive investment in its re-generation. It has a large number of attractions, ranging from a la liga playing football team to bull fighting and the state of the art contemporary Guggenheim museum.

Finding accommodation in the city is relatively easy, with 35 hotels ranging in price from £35 per night up to £100 per night. Many of these hotels are newly developed contemporary hotels and quite a bargain can be had in the £45-£60 range.

Oviedo – The Capital City of Asturias. Oviedo is beautiful clean city with a varied architectural past which is evident throughout the city.

The Picos de Europa National Park – a national park that hosts El Naranjo de Bulnes, a tooth shaped peak, that has an interesting orange glow in the evenings and makes a spectacular sight. The mountain stands at over 2500 Metres high and can be seen from quite a distance on clear days.
